About us

Since 17 years the Kartoffelkiste is located in in the Europa Center at Breitscheidplatz. Major tourist attractions like the Memorial Church, the KaDeWe, Ku'damm and the Berlin zoo and aquarium are in our immediate neighbourhood. We offer you typical german "Gemütlichkeit", so you can relax from the hustle and bustle that is Berlin!

We are proud of our down-home, seasonal german cuisine while abstaining from artifical additives, ready-made sauces and convenience products. You will not leave the Kartoffelkiste hungry, we promise you!

We are very experienced with company events, multi-course meals and fantastic diverse buffets, so we can offer your company or travel group a professional gastronomical experience. We have 240 seats available.
